My Must See TV

Here is the running list of TV shows that I keep on my phone. It is in no particular order. I update the list periodically.

  • Grantchester.  Super cute vicar who solves murders, what’s not to like? PBS
  • Unforgotten.  Another awesome British crime/mystery series!  PBS
  • Poldark.  Takes a few episodes to get into it, but soooo worth it…  PBS/Amazon Prime
  • The Wire.  Really great show!  HBO/Amazon Prime
  • The Sinner.  Binge worthy!  Netflix.
  • Bodyguard.  Its good, but not great.  Netflix
  • The Handmaid’s Tale.  Great book and a very good show though its starting to feel like reality.  Sadly, its only on Hulu right now but hopefully that will change.
  • Dr. Foster.  Another British show on Netflix. I liked it.
  • Happy Valley.  British crime show on Netflix, pretty decent!
  • Peaky Blinders. One of the best shows on Netflix, for sure!
  • Alias Grace.  Good story and acting.  Netflix
  • The Guardian.  This is an awesome show from the 90’s.  Love it! (Amazon Prime)
  • 12 Monkeys.  This is the SyFy TV show, not the movie. It is loosely based upon the 90’s Brad Pitt movie, but departs from the movie storyline by the first few episodes. This is a great show, very addicting and starts getting scary in the 2nd season. Recommend if you like sci fi!
  • Broad Church. Highly recommend. British shows are cool.
  • The Last Kingdom. ❤ Netflix
  • Downton Abbey.  The absolute best! Amazon Prime
  • Mr. Robot. First season= good, after that= MEH
  • John Oliver Last Week Tonight. It’s a sad truth that you have to watch comedians to hear actual facts about current world events. This is a great show on so many levels! HBO
  • The Fall.  Dark, but good.
  • Big Little Lies. This was a decent book. I like the show.  HBO
  • The Night Manager. Entertaining! Apparently a new season is coming out this month. HOT DOG! HBO
  • The Night Of. Kinda shocking and sad, but very compelling
  • The Killing. I couldn’t finish any task until I binge-watched the whole first season. Lots of unfolded laundry and uncooked dinners at home…
  • The Missing. Both seasons were compelling.  I ❤ Julien Baptiste!
  • Crashing.  First season, kinda funny!
  • Black Mirror. If you can survive the first episode, it gets interesting!
  • Taboo. I like Tom Hardy, but look, this show is demented. Watch it, but you didn’t hear it from me!
  • Stranger Things. 1st season- awesome, obviously!
  • VEEP. Hilarious, kinda evil and now it’s just downright disturbing since it seems to be reality, except reality is way way way worse.
  • The Americans. This is a good show and I include it because I am a huge fan of Keri Russell all the way back to Felicity since she also has naturally curly hair that she can’t control. Girl, I feel you.
  • Grimm. I ❤ Grimm. Best show EVER!!
  • Homeland. Still a great show!
  • Silicon Valley. Great for awhile, still decent
  • Game of Thrones. Same as above⬆️
  • The Walking Dead. Same as above⬆️
  •  30 Rock. I just have to include this, it would be wrong not to.
  • Sherlock. Always awesome!
