It would have been better to have at least three full days in York. I think the Celts, Romans, Anglo Saxons, Vikings and Normans would all agree that York is a great place to stay!
York Minster is the focal point and a great first stop! To take the tower tour you must climb up 700 of these steps. 
It seemed like eighty percent of the people who climbed the stairs thought this view was worth it.
The other twenty percent were a little angry. I was in the eighty percent!
The Jórvík Museum related to the Vikings who inhabited York was surprisingly incredible. 
The York City Wall was a great walk and was located steps from our B&B.
Shambles.
York is a beautiful city and a great place to visit.
